Edward joined Extractive Search having previously held senior leadership positions within the luxury hotel industry. Relocating from The Ritz London to the Pan Pacific Group in Perth saw Edward foster and enjoy many B2B sales relationships within the mining industry which ignited his passion for the sector.

Edward is now our Global lead for Senior Project and Mine Site leaders while simultaneously setting up our Corporate office in Perth, strengthening our Corporate technical offering in Australasia.

Edward is often retained by the majors to help better position their major and mega project portfolios as they navigate the war for senior project talent.

Hobbies: Surfing, kite surfing, working out and walking his dog: Chester Hester.

With over twenty years’ experience in remote site search, James brings a vast global network for business development and execution.

For Site, James places senior leaders in support services such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain and HSEC.

James is also a Consultant within our Corporate practice and fulfils the role of Managing Director for our UK and Australian offices.

Hobbies: Family life, property renovation, singer songwriter.

A Sociology graduate with over ten years’ experience in search, selection, finance and administration, Ruth offers internal support to our Consultants with a core focus on searches, referencing, proposal writing, client research, process administration and salary surveys.

As a highly skilled interviewer, Ruth collaborates with our Consultants on client briefings and screening calls for long list development.

Hobbies: Reading, exercise, travel and family life.
